 この楽しいリズムと反して、 曲の内容はMaxwellのシルバーのカナヅチで彼女の頭叩いて殺してまう。っていうなんとも残虐かつコミカルな曲。

But as she's getting ready to go,
A knock comes on the door.

Back in school again Maxwell plays the fool again.
Teacher gets annoyed.

But when she turns her back on the boy,
He creeps up from behind.

彼女に電話をかけた。

けれども、彼女が出かける準備している時、
ドアでノックの音がした

彼女の頭に落ちてきた
カン！カン！マックスウェルの銀のかなづちが
彼女が死ぬまでしっかり落ちてきた。

学校に戻ると、マックスウェルはまたもやふざけまわって、
先生を困らせた。
先生は不快な場面を避けようと思って

彼女はマックスにクラスの皆がどこかに行く間、
教室に残って
「僕はそんなに（礼儀知らずであっては、などなど）はいけない。」と５０回書くように言った。

けれども、彼女がこの子に背を向けた時
マックスは後ろから忍び寄った

警察官第３１番が「汚いヤツを捕まえた。」と言った
マックスウェルはたったひとりで
証言しなくてはならなかった

ローズとバレリーは傍聴席で
彼を釈放するべきだと叫んだ。
〔マックスウェルを釈放するべきよー！〕
判事はそれには同意できかねるので、皆にそう言った

けれども、その言葉が判事の口から出た時
後ろで物音がした
